Teagan was all smiles, but Aidan was being silly on their first day of school. I snapped the photo anyway because it's priceless!
This is Aidan on his first day of pre-K. He was excited to have his own cubby!
Aidan went right in his room and started playing. I was shocked, but grateful for no tears!
This is Teagan on her first day of kindergarten! The first day was more like orientation - a parent stayed for a few hours and went over the boring stuff like rules; they got to take a short ride on a bus; they went through the lunch line. It was fun to see what her day will be like.
She's a big girl now - she has a locker! Coincidentally, she shares a locker with the niece of a friend... they will be great friends this year!
This is the picture of excitement! All of the kindergarteners climbed onto two buses and they took a short ride so they could learn the rules of bus safety!
This is Teagan on her second day of kindergarten, but her first real bus ride! Luckily, she had the neighbor girls to show her the ropes.
Teagan was happily walking to get on the bus and I was fighting back the tears - partly joy, partly sadness... she's all grown up now!
