New York City!!!

Look who's on that billboard in Times Square in NYC?!?

So, I took a trip to New York City with my college girlfriends. I am so fortunate to have such a wonderful group of friends. We may not get to see each other often and we don't chat often either, but I know without a doubt, they will be there when I need them! As trips go, this was my very first girls only trip since meeting my husband 8 years ago... and it was AMAZING! I haven't laughed so much in 4 days since... well, college!

This is the gang at the Top of the Rockefeller Center with the Empire State Building in the background.

This is crossing the Brooklyn Bridge from Brooklyn to Manhattan... what a view! I was shocked to see an exercise class taking place right at the center of the bridge... and so many joggers and bikers... what a way to get a workout in!

This is Tiffany and me down in the financial district kicking the bull in the balls! Hehehe! Tiffany and I had four classes together first semester, freshman year at UNC. With over 25,000 students, I took that as a sign we were meant to be in each other's lives! And though we live very different lives, we are so much in like in so many ways... almost scary sometimes!

The gang went ice skating at Rockefeller Center! I managed to let go of the wall eventually, only to hold hands with Tiffany around the rink! Tiffany and Renee were dancing on the ice... me, not so much!

Renee took the train back to Long Island on Sunday evening... and the rest of the girls drove back to NC on Monday morning, which left me with time to kill before flying back to Ohio. I took a gamble and went down to Times Square Studios to see if I could on Good Morning America... SUCCESS!!! And the guest on Monday, October 25... Janet Jackson! Although I didn't get a picture of her, she did pass through the downstairs studio on her way to the upstairs studio for her interview... so I did see Janet Jackson in person!

This NYC trip was so amazing! I took 400 pictures and wouldn't dare bore you with them, but I can tell you it was the most awesome trip one could imagine!!! Times Square, Central Park, Top of the Rock, Chinatown, Staten Island ferry to see the Statue of Liberty, Dylan's Candy Bar, frozen hot chocolate at Serendipity, ice skating at Rockefeller, carriage ride through the park, Wicked on Broadway, etc. Amazing, amazing, amazing!!! I would say it runs a very close second to our family vacation to Disney! =)
