Well, it's been almost a year since I've updated our blog. I post almost daily on Facebook... and lots of pics! But I'm feeling inspired by a friend who started a new blog for her family, and thought why not give it another try?!?
Our lives are full as always... Teagan is cheering for NEO Allstars this year and she's a Cheetah (Mini Level 1). She's at the gym 3-4 days/week and competes a couple of weekends out of the month, so we're always running ragged with her. Aidan played football this summer with the JYFL and loved it! The coaches called him Smiley because he rarely stopped smiling on the field. He started wrestling this fall, but decided it was too much for him. Two nights a week for 90 minutes each was just too much for him.. he said he liked the drills but he was getting too sweaty and tired. LOL We will try again next year since he really liked it. He just wants to ride dirtbikes... the kid is awesome on two wheels!
Dan's still working full time (and he loves his job) and joined the Coast Guard Auxiliary so he has drill one weekend each month. He still tinkers with his motorcycles in the garage...some things never change. I'm still kicking... working lots of hours, volunteering with Leadership Stark County, making time for the kids' school parties and functions, working on the yearbook committee for the kids' school, and being the 'taxi' driver! I also started a 'Fat Blasting' program at a local gym, so I'm at bootcamp (or similar classes) 4-5 days each week and following a strict meal plan. It's working, so I'm extremely committed right now. I can cook breakfast on the weekends for the family - bacon, eggs, pancakes, Crescent rolls - and not even feel tempted to partake! :)
I will post more recent pictures in the coming days/weeks. The one above was taken in October after we made a trip for our annual session with our photographer. Her pictures are amazing and I will be sure to post some of the them once I get my CD!
Let's see how this goes... I'm going to at least *attempt* to keep up on this!
